We have buildings of more than 8,5 million sq m in total on 60 million sq m of land. Our property reflects the rich history of our company - stations, train sheds, workshops, factories, equipment stores, but also offices, housing and buildings that are used for medical care or social action. For historical reasons, we own most of this property ourselves. Having said that, the leased portfolio (currently 525,000 sq m) is growing rapidly. What does the SNCF Property Division do? Its role is to propose and implement the company's real estate policy. The policy has various aspects - maximising the value of property, managing costs and providing support in new developments.
