Proactive action to help young people grow up is Fondation SNCF's underlying goal as it launches its 2nd call for projects to associations working in the fight against illiteracy. Two age ranges are concerned. From early childhood to 6, your project will give children a taste for words and stimulate the imagination using educational play that involves the family. For adolescents aged between 10 and 15, your project will consolidate their basic skills (reading, writing and arithmetic) by stimulating their creative and expressive abilities. How to apply: download your application pack from the Foundation's site. Send in your application before 30 April 2010, and head to the Awards ceremony in September 2010. Helping you to help young people in difficulty is what Fondation Solidarité SNCF is all about. It supports more than 300 projects every year that are working to prevent illiteracy and encourage sport education, European mobility and employment. |
