EMPLOYER AWARDS: SNCF in the top 10

employer ranking

11/10/25

The 'Palmarès Employeur' employer awards involves a survey of employers and employees to determine the companies with the best balance between financial growth, HR policy, management quality, etc.

This is the second edition of these employer awards, and the panel, made up of over 9000 people who took part in an online survey between May and July 2011, ranked SNCF as the 7th best company to work for in France. The top three were Airbus, BNP and Crédit Agricole. In the regional awards, the SNCF won second place in the East, and a special distinction in the Centre.

Special distinction for work life balance at the SNCF
To produce the rankings, the SNCF's specific strengths were noted - our benefits and financial package, respect for employees, gender equality, training opportunities, opportunities for young workers and people with disabilities, and more. The SNCF also won special distinction for the best work life balance, one of ten separate award categories assessed by the Panel.

HR and management are making quality of working life a priority
At the awards ceremony on 4 October at the premises of 'L'Express' newspaper, François Nogué, SNCF HR Manager, underlined that 'human resources and management are making an increasing priority of quality of working life, a key for industrial and financial performance.'
